My Mother Mary Bernadette FitzGerald was a pupil around 1937./38 and I am looking for any photos or articles up to about 1942. Or a contact for any pupil in or around that time. Her 90th birthday is coming up and her family are trying to put a life scrap book together for her so any help would be gratefully appreciated

I would suggest that you contact the Loreto Archives (http://www.loreto.ie/archives) - they may be able to assist, they were very helpful when I was looking for details of one of the nuns who taught in Loreto on the Green.

I am enquiring about my aunt Molly O Reilly who was a member of the order of the Loreto Sisters. When she accepted her full vows, she was known as Sister Mary Lucey and went to teach in Spain in the Loreto Convent in San Sebastian I think, and spent the rest of her life there until she died and was buried over there. Does the Order have any details where she was buried, as I would like to visit her grave next September if at all possible
My aunt, God rest her was allowed home to the convent on St Stephens Green once a year. My late Mother brought me to visit her every Sunday afternoon for the month around 1956/7, she was back in Ireland and we used to go to the garden at the back of the convent, she was always very special to me.
